Toyota Recalls 144,200 U.S. Vehicles Over Rearview Camera Issue
Toyota Motor Corporation is recalling 144,200 vehicles in the United States due to a potential defect in rearview camera displays, which may not function when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, increasing the risk of a crash, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported on Wednesday.
The recall affects the following models:
Dealers will either update the software or replace the rearview camera as needed, at no cost to owners. Toyota and NHTSA emphasized that affected vehicle owners should contact their local dealers promptly to schedule service.

Lexus NX350, NX250, RX350, and TX350 from specified years.
Rearview camera images may not display when the vehicle is in reverse.
