Nvidia Earnings Crush Expectations as AI Demand Shows No Signs of Slowing
Nvidia delivered another blockbuster quarter, beating Wall Street expectations and sending its shares higher as the company signaled that the global AI infrastructure boom remains exceptionally strong.
Nvidia's results show that spending on AI computing remains enormous. Demand for its GPUs continues to exceed available supply, while major cloud companies and AI developers keep expanding their data-center capacity.
Nvidia also announced that Amazon Web Services plans to deploy 2 million additional Nvidia GPUs across 2027 and 2028, reinforcing the scale of hyperscaler AI investment.
The biggest concern isn't demand—it's margins.
Nvidia expects gross margins to come under pressure because of higher memory costs and supply constraints. The company reported a 75% gross margin for the quarter and expects around 74% for the next quarter.
Revenue beat + EPS beat + stronger guidance + explosive Data Center growth = Strong fundamental momentum
But Nvidia is now operating at an extraordinary valuation, meaning expectations are extremely high. Even excellent results may not be enough if future guidance disappoints.
Nvidia didn't just beat expectations—it raised the bar again.
The bigger message for investors is clear:
AI spending is still accelerating, and Nvidia remains at the center of the infrastructure boom.

Yes. Nvidia reported $96.22 billion in revenue and $2.22 adjusted EPS, beating expectations of roughly $92 billion revenue and $2.09 EPS.
The Data Center business was the star, generating about $89 billion, up roughly 117% year over year.
Nvidia expects approximately $108 billion in revenue, showing that management still sees exceptionally strong AI-computing demand.
Investors are watching rising memory costs, margin pressure, supply constraints, competition and uncertainty around China sales. Nvidia expects margins to come under pressure in the near term.
The earnings show that AI infrastructure spending remains extremely strong, but Nvidia's valuation and very high expectations mean investors will focus increasingly on future growth, margins and guidance—not just another earnings beat.
