Ithaca Energy H1 Pretax Profit Rises

Ithaca Energy’s first-half pretax profit rose to $513.4 million from $189.4 million last year, but it posted a net loss of $217.5 million due to a one-off $327.6 million deferred tax charge from the EPL extension. Adjusted net income increased slightly to $128.7 million from $124.7 million. Average production more than doubled to 123.6 kboe/d from 53.0 kboe/d, and 2025 output guidance was raised to 119–125 kboe/d from 109–119 kboe/d.
